Mess at Josey Records during Middle of the Map Fest 2017, 5/6/17
Kansas City-based band Mess recently crushed a set at the Do816 day party at Josey Records during Middle of the Map Fest 2017. They are past interview subjects of mine and are my favorite local band. Check out this live version of “Fool’s Gold.”

Kevin Briody and Allison Gliesman of Mess, 5/6/17
I recently did a live interview with Kevin Briody, Allison Gliesman and Tanner Pinkerton of Kansas City-based band Mess. Mess at RecordBar, 4/7/17
Kansas City-based band Mess recently crushed RecordBar with a hard-hitting, dynamic set. They are one of my favorite local bands. I covered the show for X1051. Check out this live performance of new song “Fool’s Gold.”

MESS at the Tank Room, 2/18/17
Up-and-coming Kansas City-based band Mess recently smashed the Tank Room with a rocking set of shoegaze and post punk vibes. I covered the show for X1051. I went into the show knowing nothing about them and was completely blown away. It was one of the best sets I’ve seen in 6 months. Check out this live video of the epic, sprawling sounds of Mess.
