Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness delivered a quality 90 minute set at the KC Live Block on St. Patrick’s Day. Check out this live performance of the Jack’s Mannequin classic “Dark Blue.”

Dreamers recently beasted RecordBar with a blazing set of indie rock vibes. It is always nice to see an indie rock power trio. It was drummer Jacob Wick’s birthday and the band was in party mode all night. The Griswolds drummer Lachlan West sat in “DRUGS” and “Sweet Disaster. ” Check out rocking version of “Never Too Late to Dance,” “DRUGS” and “Sweet Disaster.”

Backed by the Felice Brothers, Oberst’s show focused on new material, but also included a few Bright Eyes classics. The Felice Brothers really helped Oberst’s tunes to have a more full-bodied sound.
